What does DUST FREE® technology generate?
DUST FREE® active technology generates Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂), Hydroxyls (OH-), Hydroxyl Radicals (OH) and Superoxides (O2-) safely and ecologically using ambient water vapor, destroying contaminants at the source of the problem, air and surfaces, and providing great benefits in the quality of indoor air.
Scientific tests, carried out by laboratories and different universities, demonstrate the effectiveness of advanced photocatalytic oxidation technology in reducing the bacterial and viral load.
Origin of Dust Free® technology
NASA, studying the physical process that occurs in nature, after a storm of strong electrical equipment in land areas with certain mineral compositions, verified the purifying effect produced in the air by the creation of certain purifying and ecological activators. This effect was considered as a Solar Gaseous Photocatalysis process.
Starting from this natural phenomenon, numerous laboratory studies were developed by the American Space Agency and its research centers as part of the Shuttle program and the International Space Station (ISS), to reduce polluting elements in the air inside the space.
What does Dust Free® technology consist of?
The innovative Triad Pure® advanced heterogeneous photocatalysis (advanced photocatalytic oxidation) purification technology is developed in the Dust Free® cell, composed of a high-density UV lamp housed within a catalyst designed in the shape of a honeycomb.
This high-tech catalyst is made of a patented noble metal alloy and coated with a hydrophilic material that captures ambient moisture. This design allows the reactions generated starting from water vapor (H20) to be clean, to occur more quickly and to strengthen the bond between the hydrogen and oxygen molecules, so that once the disinfectant molecule is in the air it lasts longer.
The energy provided by the photons of light in the catalyst reacts with the ambient water vapor and generates Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂), Hydroxyls (OH-), Hydroxyl Radicals (OH) and Superoxides (O2-). These oxidants work in synergy creating a purifying plasma that actively removes up to 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, odours, smoke, pollen, dust, mold, mites, spores and volatile organic compounds from the air and surfaces.
After carrying out their purifying function, these compounds dissolve naturally, becoming harmless water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
Dust Free® technology is currently the most advanced on the market and has been designed to obtain the maximum production of natural oxidants with a catalyst surface area between 6 and 8 times more compared to other systems.
What is Dust Free® technology for?
Dust Free® advanced purification technology generates a purifying plasma that performs 4 natural functions.
Disinfection. Thanks to the natural oxidants generated, such as hydrogen peroxide, up to 99.99% effectiveness is achieved in eliminating bacteria, viruses and germs, in addition to eliminating fungi and mold. It is an essential complement for air conditioning and ventilation installations with duct networks.

Moisture Consideration
Dust Free requires at least 40% humidity to provide an adequate amount of hydrogen peroxide. If you live in a dry area, installing a humidifier is recommended to keep the humidity at an optimal level.
